All animals being treating for injury of dysfunction by Herriot Veterinary Physiotherapy require a signed and dated veterinary consent prior to treatment, either obtained by the owner or the physiotherapist.
Payment must be made before or at the time of treatment. Cash and card payments are accepted.
Cancellations should be made as early as possible. Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment time will incur 50% of the treatment charge, and those within 24 hours of the appointment time will incur the full treatment charge.
Herriot Veterinary Physiotherapy reserves the right to refuse treatment to any animal and may wish to refer you back to your vet where necessary.
We are bound by the Animal Welfare Act 2006 to raise significant welfare concerns with appropriate authorities.
Any animals infected by contagious diseases must rearrange their appointment at least 24 hours before original appointment time, in which case you will not be charged a cancellation fee. Animals must be symptom free for a minimum of 48 hours before an appointment. Herriot Veterinary Physiotherapy must be informed immediately if an animal displays symptoms of an infectious disease within the 48 hours following treatment.
Owners must cancel appointments immediately if they develop any symptoms of COVID-19. No charge will be incurred for this and appointments will be rearranged.
Owners must inform Herriot Veterinary Physiotherapy if their animal's condition worsens at any point during or after the appointment treatment, or if the vet advises against physiotherapy.
