HVP is owned by Trudie Baker. Trudie set up Herriot Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2022 following successful graduation of the accredited BSc Veterinary Physiotherapy degree at Harper Adams University. Following graduation, Trudie is registered with the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) and the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP).

Although registering with either the NAVP or RAMP is voluntary, both are working to improve the animal physiotherapy industry standards. To join, members must meet strict entry requirements, carry recognised credentials and undertake ongoing CPD. DEFRA recognised RAMP members to be provding 'Gold Standard Care' within the veterinary rehabilitation industry.
